About Us

We're Joe and Hannah, a husband and wife team from Plymouth and the people behind The Guest Perspective. Joe has spent over a decade working as a professional videographer and editor, and Hannah brings a background in interior design alongside a genuine talent for video editing she discovered during maternity leave. Between us we have the creative eye, the technical experience, and the personal understanding of what a wedding actually means.

A few years ago we handed a handycam to a guest at a close friend's wedding, and everything changed. Within an hour it was being passed around the room, guests were doing impromptu interviews with each other, and people were saying and doing things they would never do in front of a professional crew. The footage was raw, funny, and completely real and our friends could not stop watching it.

We got married ourselves not long after and felt every bit of the stress and expense that comes with planning a wedding. That experience made us more certain than ever that couples deserve a candid alternative, something personal, something affordable, and something that captures their day exactly as it was.
